A Guide To Classic Flirting Signals

Here are 4 classic flirting signals shown by both sexes. These will really help you if you are currently dating, or looking to improve your people watching skills.

1. Girls look for a deepening voice - Men feel the need to drop their voice around women they like, which increases their perceived masculinity. Also watch for how a mans voice changes from deep to soft when initial rapport has been achieved. This behavior can be readily observed during most Saturday nights in a bar/nightclub!

2. Girls look for increased crotch displays. – Men like to make an impression around girls they like. During childhood, men used to show off by pulling wheelies on their bikes, climbing trees and teasing the girls they liked. However in their advancing years, men rely on crotch displays to show their intent. If you see an open stance in your direction or thumbs in belt, with the deepening/softening voice, it’s his way of showing you he’s confident around. Remember, men try to improve their appearance when attracted to a woman.

3. Guys look for increased eye contact - You know she’s interested when she not only makes eye contact, but holds it for a significant amount of time. If you’re across the room from one another, regular brief instances of eye contact may be strong signs of flirting on her part. But remember, eye contact needs to be given more than once. Eye contact might have been purely accidental, or polite. So don’t assume you’re hot stuff just on one glance alone. Keep an eye out for the half smile as she looks away from you, this is a good sign.

4. Guys look for the touch - If a girl likes you, she’ll want to touch. Touching (frequent) of the arms/shoulder are classic indicators that she fancies you, and is comfortable with you being in her personal space. Haptics (touch) creates an instant silent connection, one in which many men fail to capitalize on. If a woman keeps touching your forearm, upper arm, or shoulder, she’s silently reminding you that she finds you physically attractive, and feels safe in your presence.

Remember, flirting signals such as these MUST come in clusters before you make your move. Don’t assume anything until you have more than one signal being directed at you.
