Eye blocking is a powerful non-verbal indicator of dislike whereby the pupils in the eye constrict in the form of a squint, or in some cases result in the eyes closing completely.

As acclaimed body language expert Joe Navarro notes "Eye blocking is just one of the more obvious things that we do when we are troubled, frustrated, or struggling with something emotionally."
